Who took the Penname Shilvadra in Assamese Literature?

 The penname Shilvadra was taken by Rebati Mohanm Dutta Chaudhury. He was a prominent Assamese poet, playwright, and social reformer of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He is best known for his patriotic poems and plays, which inspired the Assamese people during the Indian independence movement.

Dutta Chaudhury was born in 1866 in the village of Hajo in Assam. He was educated at the Government High School in Guwahati and the Cotton College in Calcutta. After graduating, he worked as a teacher and a journalist. He also served as the president of the Assam Sahitya Sabha, the premier literary organization of Assam.

Dutta Chaudhury's first collection of poems, "Shilvadra Rachanabali," was published in 1892. His other works include the plays "Kirit Kaushik" and "Biswakarma," and the novels "Dharmaraj" and "Swaraj." He also wrote several essays on social and political issues.

Dutta Chaudhury died in 1925. He is considered one of the most important figures in Assamese literature. His works are still read and enjoyed by people all over Assam.
